I’ve been obsessed by flickr lately. No, I haven’t uploaded any photos. But I’ve chosen about a zillion favorites, and I’ve personalized my Google account so that I have these “flickr nuggets” (to find out more about this, search ‘flickr’ when you’re looking for more things to add to your personalized Google page) on it so that I can see some of my favorite images every times I go to Google. Which I do a lot. And they’re set to refresh automatically, so the images are always changing.

It’s wonderful.

Definitely the best thing to come down the pike since the kaleidoscope maker from krazydad.

Very nice ‘Esprit Chemo Turban’ created by Ann Cannon-Brown for elann.com. It’s a do-it-yourself project with a pattern for those of you who knit.

A friend mentioned that she found it difficult to leave comments on Blogger blogs without having a Blogger account. Here’s a good Blogger Comments 101 from The Millions and The Written Nerd.

My sister asked me to sign this petition on the treatment of Lyme Disease. Here are her words:

“Could you all please do me a favor and visit this link above and sign the petition?

There’s a big controversy about how to treat Lyme disease successfully. This petition requests that the new IDSA guidelines recommending brief (incorrect & incomplete) treatment of Lyme be retracted. There are 2 groups IDSA & ILADS (both a bunch of MDs) that disagree abouthow to treat Lyme. If my doctor adhered to these new, “quick fix” IDSA guidelines, people with Lyme could be sick for the rest of their lives.
