Love Walked In is a Capra-movie kind of book! I liked it a lot.

I’ve picked up some great hats on the Net that come from Egypt and aren’t too expensive. They’re at 2.hijab.com and starscarves. When you add in the shipping (from Egypt!) on the hats from 2.hijab.com, they end up costing a few dollars less than those from starscarves.
Be warned: when they arrive, they smell very strongly of cigarette smoke!
(photos are from 2hijab.com and may or may not represent actual hats purchased by yours truly)

I’ve been enjoying wearing my hair in braided pigtails lately. Did you know pigtails are the new orange?

It is a little-known fact that Iceland is the only country in the world to have been uninhabited until its discovery and settlement by Orthodox Christian monks. Or maybe we should call them Irish pre-schism monks.
